As a child, I loved going through my family photo albums and boxes. My parents answered endless questions about memories that didn’t include me. I was, after all, their Who, What, When, Where, How? child. Those photos also evoked my own joyful memories.

It’s amazing how a single photo can unlock an entire experience.

For most of my professional career, I directed plays. I created images and told stories on a stage. A single image or small sculpture could inspire the entire set and lighting design. I loved working with actors, designers and technicians. It was a world that required human interaction and collaboration.

Now, my childhood fascination is my profession.
