How it works, is really up to you!

Here are a few examples of how various projects have worked:

One client had 40 CDs with photos on them. The client’s budget was one hour a week. Recaptured put them on a thumb drive creating folders for each CD with notes regarding the contents. The client asked me to delete duplicates and blurry photos and to make sure all photos were upright.

Another client had 5 boxes of hard copy photos that she asked me to organize, as best as possible, chronologically. She had me create a folder for duplicates as well as a folder of ‘Best Of’ photos. A folder was made with negatives and CDs found in the boxes.

Recaptured has also transferred numerous VHS tapes, DVDs, and other outdated media to digital formats that are emailed and put on thumb drives if requested.

Note: I always recommend redundancy to protect your memories. For example, thumb drive and cloud space or thumb drive and external hard drive.
